Tim Murungi

Tim Murungi is a highly experienced commercial and project management professional with more than 25 years of experience across data centre, infrastructure, real estate, oil and gas, and MEP sectors. He has developed a strong reputation for leading large-scale programmes, managing commercial performance, and delivering complex projects within challenging operational environments.

Currently serving as Senior Director – Commercial (MEP) at Damac Properties, Tim leads commercial and delivery strategy for multi-megawatt data centre programmes, overseeing procurement, contract management, risk management, commercial controls, and stakeholder engagement. Prior to this, Tim held senior leadership positions including Country Manager for McDermott Uganda, Chief Operating Officer at Civtec Africa, Director of Real Estate at Centum Investments, Director of Quantity Surveying at Damac Properties UAE, and Senior Commercial Manager at EC Harris International.
