Vihanga Weerasingha

Vihanga Weerasingha is a Senior Quantity Surveyor with over nine years of experience in estimating, tendering and procurement, commercial management, contract administration and claims. UK-qualified through Oxford Brookes University, Vihanga's experience covers BOQs and bid pricing, interim payment applications, variations, final accounts and contractual claims, with a strong focus on value engineering and cost control.

Since August 2025, Vihanga has worked remotely through PMO Specialist in Colombo, supporting UK projects during UK business hours. Assigned to Winlion Ltd, a specialist passive fire protection contractor and appointed PFP maintainer for the London Underground network, Vihanga provides commercial management, NEC and other UK and European contract administration, estimating, tender pricing, cost reporting and contractual correspondence. The portfolio also includes quantity surveying and commercial support on data centre projects in the UK and Europe.

Earlier roles include Senior Quantity Surveyor at Alugreat Engineering, Chief Quantity Surveyor at Hayleys Fentons, and Quantity Surveyor on the Nestlé Lanka industrial biomass boiler project with Senok Trade Combine. At Consulting Engineers and Contractors, Vihanga supported six large-scale projects, preparing payment applications, final accounts and claims under SBD and FIDIC conditions, alongside resource reconciliation, schedules and progress reporting. Project experience spans Sri Lankan expressways and bridges, buildings, industrial works, aluminium, façades and MEP packages.
